I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Xact Accountants, and I must say that it was a complete disappointment. I had high hopes considering they present themselves as professionals, but the service delivered was far from satisfactory. First off, the communication is abysmal. Getting in touch with them was like trying to pull teeth. Calls often went unanswered, and emails were left without a response for days, sometimes even weeks. As someone who values timely responses, this was incredibly frustrating. When I finally managed to get a hold of someone, the staff seemed more interested in brushing me off than actually listening to my concerns. Their attitude was borderline rude, and it felt like they didn't care about my business at all. Secondly, the quality of the work was mediocre at best. I entrusted Xact Accountants with handling my small business's financials, and I regret that decision deeply. There were numerous errors in the reports they provided, which led to significant confusion and wasted time on my part to get things corrected. They also missed several critical deadlines, causing delays in my business operations. Another issue is their pricing. For the level of service and expertise they claim to offer, the fees are exorbitant. It feels like you're paying for premium service but receiving subpar results. I understand that quality work comes at a cost, but this is not reflected in what they deliver. Lastly, their website, while easy to navigate, does little to compensate for the lack of quality in their actual services. The information available is generic and doesn't provide much insight or reassurance about their capabilities. In summary, my experience with Xact Accountants has been far from what I expected. The poor communication, substandard work quality, missed deadlines, and high costs make it a service I would not recommend to anyone. Save your time, money, and sanity by looking elsewhere for accounting services.
Really disappointed with the service from Xact Accountants. The communication was terrible, and it felt like they didn't care about my needs. Would not recommend.
