Mmmm yahh, so I decided to try SmartBuyGlasses.de and tbh my experience was pretty meh. First off, the website is kinda slow and not user-friendly at all. Navigating through the different sections was like getting lost in a maze. The search bar doesn’t even work properly half the time. I was looking for a specific brand and it gave me all sorts of weird results that had nothing to do with what I wanted. Also, the product descriptions are super vague. Like, give me more details please! I had no clue what materials some of the frames were made of. Also, the photos are not high quality. Felt like they were taken with an ancient camera or something. Some of the colors didn’t even match the actual product. The selection is not that great either. I thought they would have a lot more styles and brands to choose from. But nope, pretty basic stuff. I even found cheaper and better-looking glasses at my local store. Shipping was a nightmare too! They claim fast delivery but it took forever. When they finally arrived, the package was kinda damaged, I was sooo worried my glasses would be broken. Luckily they weren’t but still. The customer service was another disaster. The reps were kinda rude and not helpful at all. It felt like they were just rushing through the conversation to get rid of me. And don’t get me started on the return process! It’s way more complicated than it needs to be. They make you jump through so many hoops just to get a refund or exchange. Honestly thought it was easier to keep the glasses even though they weren’t exactly what I wanted. Overall, not a place I’d recommend. If you’re looking for good glasses and service, just look somewhere else.
