I recently used Gourmet Society to try and save some money dining out but I'm honestly pretty disappointed with the service and the overall experience. First of all, the website itself is not very user-friendly. It's difficult to navigate and find the specific information you're looking for. The search function often brings up irrelevant results, which is very frustrating. Then there's the issue of restaurant availability. Even though they claim to have a wide range of partner restaurants, I found that many in my local area either don't participate anymore or have very restrictive conditions. I even showed up to a restaurant that was supposed to accept the Gourmet Society card only to be told they were no longer part of the program. That was really embarrassing and frustrating for both me and my dining companions. Their customer service also leaves much to be desired. Contacting them is a hassle, as they don’t have a phone number clearly listed. When I finally got through via email, the response was slow and unhelpful, almost as if they were copy-pasting generic replies without really addressing my concerns. I also had issues with the card itself, which didn't always scan correctly, leading to delays and confusion at the checkout. It’s maddening when you’re ready to pay and leave, only to face technical issues. The experience overall has been pretty negative and not worth the annual membership fee they charge. I expected a lot more from a service that claims to offer convenience and savings, but instead, I've ended up wasting time and feeling stressed. I'd advise anyone considering joining Gourmet Society to think twice and perhaps look for alternative dining discount options.

I recently joined the Gourmet Society, and unfortunately, my experience has been quite underwhelming. The discounts offered at participating restaurants are often limited to specific days or hours, which makes it inconvenient. Additionally, the customer service was slow to respond when I had an issue with my membership card. Overall, not worth the price.
