I've been using British Community’s website for a few weeks now, and honestly, I'm quite disappointed with the overall experience. First and foremost, the navigation is rather clunky and unintuitive. It takes way too long to find simple information or even basic functionalities. It's like the site was designed 10 years ago with no updates since. Additionally, the content itself seems rather sparse and somewhat irrelevant. I was hoping to find rich, engaging articles about British culture, history, and current affairs, but most of what is there is either outdated or not very interesting. Another major issue is the loading time of the pages. I frequently encounter delays when clicking through the site, which makes the whole process frustrating. It's particularly bad on mobile devices, where some pages fail to load entirely. Customer support, which I had to contact for help with a minor issue, was also less than stellar. I expected a prompt and helpful response, but instead, I received a generic response that didn’t address my specific problem. It felt very impersonal and unhelpful. On the positive side, the layout of the homepage is decent, and the initial impression is good. However, it doesn’t take long before you start encountering these issues. All in all, British Community has the potential to be a great resource, but it desperately needs a comprehensive update and overhaul, both in terms of design and content. Until these improvements are made, I can't recommend this site to anyone looking for a reliable and engaging British cultural resource. I hope they take user feedback seriously and work on these glaring issues.
This website is very confusing to navigate and didn't provide the information I was looking for. The layout felt outdated and the search function wasn't helpful. I expected more from a community platform.
