I was really looking forward to trying TooGoodToGo, but my experience was pretty disappointing overall. First off, I found the app layout and website interface to be quite confusing and not user-friendly at all. It took me a while to even figure out how to navigate through the different sections and find what I was looking for. Once I finally managed to place an order, I was underwhelmed by the whole process. The description of the “magic bag” sounded promising, but what I received was far from magical. The food items were either almost expired or of very low quality. In one instance, I even got some items that were slightly moldy, which was utterly disgusting and unacceptable. Another issue I encountered was the limited availability of participating stores in my area. The app boasted about helping reduce food waste, but it’s pretty useless if there are hardly any options available nearby. I had to travel a fair distance to collect my order, which kind of defeats the purpose of saving time and resources. On top of that, the customer service was unhelpful when I tried to report the moldy items. They took a long time to respond and offered no real solution or compensation for the bad experience. Overall, I think the concept of TooGoodToGo is great in theory but the execution leaves much to be desired. They seriously need to improve the quality control of the food being offered and make their platform more intuitive and user-friendly. I wanted to love this service, but unfortunately, it missed the mark for me.

The Too Good To Go app seemed promising but to be honest, I expected a little more reliability. It's often hard to find a local shop for grab a deal, and there's not always much choice available. I also had a problem with the app not confirming my reservation one time and I found it very inconvenient. I do applaud the cause, but the service needs a lot more work.
