I bought a dining table and chairs, but the quality is not as expected for the price. Delivery was fast, but the furniture scratched easily and seems flimsy. Customer service tried to help but didn't offer any real solution. Kind of disappointed 😞
Honestly, I'm quite disappointed with Tides Home & Garden. I was expecting a better experience given the website’s neat and visually pleasant design, but that didn't translate to actual quality or efficiency. Firstly, the website navigation is frustrating. It's slow, and some links lead nowhere, which feels like a maze just to find basic information or products. For example, I clicked on "Garden Furniture" and was redirected to an error page multiple times. Secondly, the product descriptions are misleading. I ordered a set of patio chairs that were described as "weather-resistant and durable," but after just a week of use, they showed signs of rust and the cushions began to fade. To make matters worse, when I tried to contact customer service for a return, they were unresponsive and unhelpful. I sent emails and messages through their contact form but only got automated responses and no real solutions. It felt like they didn't care at all once they got my money. Additionally, the shipping took much longer than advertised. Their website promised delivery within 5-7 days, but my order arrived after nearly three weeks, and I received no updates about the delay. It's frustrating to be left in the dark when you've spent a significant amount of money expecting timely service. Another point is the pricing. For the quality I received, the products are grossly overpriced. I could have found better quality items at a local store for less money. Overall, Tides Home & Garden failed to meet my expectations on multiple fronts: from poor customer service to misleading descriptions and delayed shipping. I won’t be shopping here again and would advise others to be cautious before making a purchase.
