I recently had the (mis)fortune of using srv.rent for my apartment search, and I must say, the experience left much to be desired. First off, the website's interface was not user-friendly. It took me forever to figure out how to navigate and find listings relevant to my search. The design is so cluttered that it's almost impossible to filter the listings in an efficient manner. It's like they’ve never heard of user experience or simplicity. The pictures on the listings are often outdated or misleading. It's almost as if they deliberately post the best pictures from years ago to lure you in, only for you to discover that the actual place looks nothing like it. One would think in 2024, a rental platform could figure out how to keep images updated and accurate, but no, not srv.rent. Customer service? Don't even get me started! Tried calling them several times and was put on hold forever. Once, I waited for over an hour, only to get disconnected. When I finally did get through, the representative seemed more clueless than helpful. It’s like they hire anyone off the street, give them a phone, and call it a day. To make matters worse, many of the listings I contacted either didn't respond or turned out to be scams. I have to question how thoroughly srv.rent vets the landlords listing properties on their site. It’s frustrating to put in so much time and effort only to be met with dead ends or shady deals. Oh, and let's talk about the pricing. They claim to list apartments at competitive rates, but once you dig deeper, you realize most of these prices are inflated. I found better deals on other platforms with less hassle and more reliable information. All in all, my experience with srv.rent was a major disappointment. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone seriously looking for a place to rent. There are far better options out there that offer a more seamless, trustworthy, and user-friendly experience. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere.
