I had a really frustrating experience with Ecolines. I booked a trip from Berlin to Riga expecting a comfortable and convenient journey, but it was far from that. First off, the bus was delayed by almost an hour with no proper communication from the staff. The waiting area was cramped and not very clean. When we finally boarded the bus, I found the seats to be quite uncomfortable for a long journey. There was hardly any legroom, and the recline function was barely working. Wi-Fi was promised but it was either extremely slow or not working at all for most of the trip. The onboard toilets were in poor condition with no soap or proper sanitation, making the whole experience rather unhygienic. To top it all off, the driver was quite rude and dismissive when asked about the delay or any other inquiries. It felt like customer service was not a priority for Ecolines. For the price I paid, I expected much better service and amenities. Overall, it made what should have been a smooth journey into a very tiring and disappointing experience. I wouldn’t recommend Ecolines to anyone looking for a reliable and comfortable bus service. They really need to improve their communication, cleanliness, and customer service standards. It’s a shame because they have the potential to be a great service, but they just don’t seem to care about the passenger experience.
