Also, where do I start? DreamHosting was supposed to be this amazing hosting platform, but my experience has been anything but. Firstly, the interface is super confusing, not user-friendly at all. I spent hours just trying to navigate through the basic settings. And let's talk about the customer service, or rather the lack of it. I reached out multiple times with urgent issues, and the response? Crickets. When they finally did respond, the answers were vague and didn't address my problems. The performance of the hosting itself is mediocre. I've had numerous downtimes, and when my website is actually up, it's often slow. I opted for one of their mid-tier plans, expecting at least decent performance, but it's been far from satisfactory. Moreover, they advertise 99.9% uptime, but that's a joke. I've had multiple outages in a single month, which is unacceptable for any serious business. Next up, the pricing. It's not transparent at all. There are hidden fees that you only discover after you've committed. I thought I was getting a good deal, but by the time I tallied up everything, I realized I could have gotten better services elsewhere for the same price. Another annoyance is their cPanel. It's clunky and outdated. Other hosting providers have more modern, intuitive control panels. I had to Google multiple tutorials just to figure out basic functionalities. Finally, let's talk about the migration process. They claim it's seamless and easy, but my experience was the opposite. It was a headache from start to finish, with multiple issues cropping up that required extensive troubleshooting. All in all, DreamHosting is far from a dream. It's more of a nightmare. Save your time, money, and sanity and go with a more reputable hosting provider. I'm already in the process of switching to a new host and can't wait to bid farewell to this terrible experience.
