I recently had the opportunity to explore Doodly, a web-based platform designed for creating whiteboard animations. As someone who has dabbled in video content creation, I was eager to see what this tool had to offer. The website is well-structured and easy to navigate, which makes the entire user experience quite pleasant from the get-go. However, there are some pros and cons that I want to highlight about Doodly. First, the positives: Doodly excels in user-friendliness. The drag-and-drop interface is incredibly intuitive, making it easy for even beginners to start creating engaging whiteboard animations quickly. The variety of pre-made templates and an extensive library of images and sounds are a huge plus. It allows for a lot of creativity without overwhelming the user with too many options. The software is also fairly priced, offering a variety of packages that can suit different needs and budgets. On the downside, there are some limitations that might make it less appealing for more advanced users. While the pre-made assets are useful, they can feel somewhat generic over time. It would be beneficial if the library was updated more frequently to keep content fresh. Additionally, while Doodly allows for the import of custom images and sounds, the process is not as seamless as it could be. There were also occasional issues with the software lagging during peak usage times, which can be frustrating if you're on a tight schedule. One crucial aspect to note is that Doodly currently lacks some advanced editing features that one might find in more sophisticated animation software like After Effects. This might be a deal-breaker for professionals needing highly customized animations. Overall, Doodly is a fantastic tool for beginners and intermediate users who need to create professional-looking whiteboard animations without a steep learning curve. However, if you're looking for more advanced features and customization options, you might need to look elsewhere. Nevertheless, given its ease of use and affordability, I would still recommend it for those new to video content creation.

I recently purchased Doodly hoping it would be a game-changer for my project. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a huge disappointment. The software is clunky and far from user-friendly. For such a high price, I expected a seamless experience, but instead, it was full of bugs and crashes. Every time I added a new element to my scene, the software would slow down drastically, making it impossible to get any work done efficiently. The library of images and sounds is very limited, which is a big letdown for anyone trying to create something unique. The characters and props don't offer much variety, and the option to import your own images is not as straightforward as it should be. Also, the audio-syncing feature is atrocious. Recording voiceovers directly in the software resulted in poor sound quality, and syncing pre-recorded audio was a nightmare. Customer support was no help, either. I reached out several times about these issues, and each response was slow and unhelpful. They just kept redirecting me to their FAQ page, which didn’t address any of my specific problems. For anyone considering Doodly, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. There are plenty of other animation tools out there that offer more features at a much lower price and with better customer support. Save your money and skip this one. I'm incredibly disappointed and feel like I wasted both time and money on a product that doesn’t live up to its promises. In my opinion, this software isn't worth it at all and needs major improvements before it can be considered a reliable tool for creating animations. If you're a professional looking for quality, look someplace else.

Was super excited about getting Doodly for my video projects, but it fell way short. The interface is clunky and it's not user-friendly at all. The exporting process takes forever, and the final quality isn't what I expected. Regret the purchase.
