I was really looking forward to using Bookshop.org because it promises to support indie bookstores, which is something I truly care about. But my experience with the site has been rather disappointing. Firstly, the website's interface is not very user-friendly. I found it cumbersome to navigate and not as intuitive as some other online book retailers. Adding items to the cart was more of a hassle than it should have been, and browsing through the categories felt outdated and slow. Secondly, the delivery time was extremely slow. I placed an order for a couple of books, and it took almost three weeks for them to arrive. I understand delays can happen, but there was no clear communication from the company about the delay until I reached out myself. Even the tracking system was not reliable and left me wondering where my parcel was for days. Thirdly, when my order finally arrived, one of the books was damaged. The cover had a noticeable crease, and it looked like it had been mishandled. For a platform that's supposed to be a champion for book lovers, this was very disappointing. I contacted customer service, and while they were polite, the resolution process was slow and not very satisfactory. They offered a small discount on my next purchase, but given my current experience, I'm hesitant to use that. Lastly, I found the prices to be quite high compared to other online retailers. While I am willing to pay a bit more to support independent bookstores, the additional cost combined with the poor service just doesn't seem worth it. Overall, my experience with Bookshop.org has been far from great, and I doubt I'll be using their services again anytime soon. I hope they improve their service because the concept behind the platform is wonderful, but, at the moment, they are failing to deliver on their promises.

I recently ordered a few books from Bookshop.org and my overall experience was incredible! This website is a heaven for book lovers. First of all, the selection is huge. I was able to find some pretty niche titles that I could not locate on other major book websites. The product descriptions are detailed which helps in making an informed choice. Plus, I love that they have a section for bookseller recommendations; it feels personal and adds a local touch to the experience.🏆 What really sets Bookshop.org apart is its mission to support local bookstores. With every purchase, a portion of the sales goes to independent bookshops, which is just fantastic! This way, I feel like my spending is making a positive impact on the community. I also appreciate how straightforward the checkout process is. There's no unnecessary clutter, and I was able to complete my purchase rather quickly. Shipping was quick too, the books arrived in perfect condition.📚 The customer service is top-notch. I had a minor issue with one of my books (the cover was slightly bent), and they responded promptly and sent me a replacement within a week. The interface of the website is very user-friendly. Whether you are browsing on desktop or mobile, the experience is seamless. It's clear that a lot of thought has gone into the design of the site to make it as functional as possible. My only tiny complaint would be the pricing. While I understand the importance of supporting small businesses, some of the books are a bit pricier compared to other big retailers. But knowing that my money is helping local bookstores makes the extra cost worthwhile. Overall, Bookshop.org is a fantastic platform for anyone who loves books and wants to support local businesses. I highly recommend it! 😊

I was really disappointed with the selection of books. Alot of the popular titles were missing or out of stock. I tried contacting customer service but never got a response. Would not recommend.
