I had high expectations for Syos because of all the hype around their custom mouthpieces, but I must say I was pretty disappointed. Firstly, the website is quite confusing to navigate. I found myself clicking around a lot just to find basic information about their products. The customization options are there, but the interface is not user-friendly at all. It felt like I was taking a quiz rather than customizing my own mouthpiece. When it comes to the delivery, it was seriously delayed. I live in a major city, so I don’t see why it took almost three weeks for my order to arrive. And when it finally did arrive, the packaging was mediocre at best. For a product that prides itself on precision and quality, the whole experience felt very subpar. Speaking of the product itself, I wasn’t blown away by the mouthpiece. It didn’t feel any different from a standard mouthpiece that costs half the price. They make a lot of claims about enhancing your sound, but I didn't notice any significant improvement. It might work for some professionals or those looking for a very specific sound, but for the average saxophone player, it's just not worth the investment. Customer service was another pain point. I reached out to them with a few questions after receiving my order, and the response was slow and not very helpful. It seemed like they were more interested in making a sale rather than ensuring customer satisfaction. Overall, I would say Syos is overhyped and overpriced. The product does not justify the cost, especially considering the poor user experience and lack of noticeable difference in sound. It's a shame because the concept is great, but the execution falls short. If you are considering a custom mouthpiece, you might want to look elsewhere or at least try to test one out before committing.
J'ai acheté un bec de saxophone chez eux et je suis vraiment déçu. La qualité n'est pas au rendez-vous pour le prix élevé. De plus, le service client n'est pas réactif. Je m'attendais à beaucoup mieux.
