I was really looking forward to using Yesim, but I have to say I'm pretty disappointed. The app promises seamless eSIM connectivity for travelers, which sounds amazing in theory, but the actual execution leaves much to be desired. First off, the user interface is not intuitive at all. I struggled to navigate through the menu options, and it took me way too long just to figure out how to purchase and activate a data plan. It's like they designed it to be as confusing as possible. Secondly, the data plans themselves are overpriced. I travel frequently, and I've used other eSIM services before, and I have to say Yesim's prices are ridiculously high for what you're getting. The coverage isn't even that great. I was in Spain, supposedly a covered country, and I kept losing signal repeatedly. It was extremely frustrating, especially when you're trying to use maps or communicate with others. Honestly, it felt like I was just throwing my money away for nothing. Moreover, the customer service is practically non-existent. I tried reaching out multiple times via their in-app support and even sent emails, but I got no response. Zero. Nada. It's like they just take your money and run. For a service that charges premium prices, you'd expect at least some level of customer support, right? But no, there's nothing. And don't even get me started on the bugs. The app crashed on me several times, mostly at the most inconvenient moments. Imagine standing in the middle of a busy street trying to find directions, only to have the app crash. It's awful. In summary, Yesim may look like a good idea on paper, but in practice, it's a disaster. The interface is bad, the prices are high, the coverage is spotty, and there's zero customer support. I'd highly recommend looking for alternative eSIM options because this one didn't cut it for me. Save yourself the frustration.
Utilisé Yesim lors de mon voyage en Espagne. Connexion rapide et facile à installer. Parfait pour éviter les frais d'itinérance! :)
I tried Yesim for my trip to Italy and Germany. It was frustrating because the connection dropped frequently and the speed was inconsistent. Had to rely on hotel Wi-Fi more often than not.
Usé Yesim para mi viaje a Tailandia y funcionó sin problemas. El proceso de activación fue muy sencillo y rápido.
