I visited Yelloh! Village this summer and was quite disappointed. The facilities were outdated and the staff seemed uninterested in helping. The pool was cold and overcrowded. Definitely not worth the price, wouldn't recommend.
I recently had an experience with Yelloh! Village, and honestly, I'm left less than impressed. I expected a pleasant vacation based on their website (which looked pretty convincing), but my actual experience was far from satisfactory. The camping site we were assigned to was supposed to be a "premium" pitch, but it felt anything but. The ground was uneven, making it a nightmare to set up our tent properly, and there were pebbles everywhere. Our neighbors were very noisy during quiet hours, and despite multiple complaints to the management, nothing was done to mitigate this disturbance. One of the major gripes was the sanitary facilities. The restrooms and showers were not adequately cleaned and often lacked basic necessities like toilet paper and soap. The website boasts about the cleanliness and quality of these facilities, so this was a major letdown. It's also worth mentioning that the on-site restaurant left much to be desired. The food quality was mediocre at best, which is really disappointing given the high prices. The menu was also very limited, and the staff seemed uninterested and borderline rude on a couple of occasions. Another issue was the activities they had listed. Many were either cancelled or not as described. The promised kids' club activities were reduced significantly, which was a big disappointment for our children. What’s worse is the overall customer service. The staff, while not entirely unkind, seemed indifferent to our complaints and did little to enhance our experience. For a place that markets itself on being friendly and accommodating, this was quite the irony. If I were to recommend Yelloh! Village to anyone, it would be to manage your expectations carefully. It is not worth the hype, in my opinion, and definitely not worth the premium prices they charge. I hope they seriously consider making improvements because, as it stands, I won’t be returning.
