I recently visited www.portables.org, hoping to find some good deals on portable electronics, but I was really dissapointed. The website design looks super outdated and it's not user-friendly at all. I had trouble navigating through the different sections, and the search function barely worked. Every time I tried looking for a specific product, it would either show irrelevant results or nothing at all. When I finally found something I was interested in, the product descriptions were very vague and lacked important details like battery life, warranty info, and even proper technical specifications. Also, the images were low-quality, making it difficult to get a good look at the items. Another problem I encountered was the slow loading time. Every page took forever to load, and it almost felt like I was back in the dial-up era. It was so frustrating that I almost gave up several times. Customer service was also a huge letdown. I had a few questions about a product, so I decided to use their contact form. It took them more than a week to get back to me, and when they did, their response was super generic and didn't address my queries at all. I felt like I was communicating with a robot. One more thing that bothered me was the lack of customer reviews. How am I supposed to trust the quality of the products if there are no reviews from other buyers? This made me super skeptical about making any purchases from this site. In the end, I decided to take my business elsewhere. I can't recommend this website to anyone looking for portable electronics. It just doesn't meet the basic standards of what a shopping site should be. Total waste of time.
