I recently had the misfortune of browsing through the Ideal Standard Sales website and I have to say, it was quite a frustrating experience. Where do I even start? First of all, the website's design is outdated and not user-friendly at all. It feels like I'm navigating a site from the early 2000s with its clunky interface and poorly organized sections. The product categories are difficult to find, and even when you do find them, the photos and descriptions are often incomplete or of poor quality. It's hard to get a clear idea of what you're looking at or whether it will meet your needs. On top of that, the loading times are painfully slow. It seems like every click requires a wait of several seconds, which is incredibly annoying when you’re trying to compare products or get information quickly. As if the user experience wasn’t bad enough, the customer service leaves much to be desired. When I tried reaching out with a query, it took ages to get a response, and the answer I finally got was vague and unhelpful. It almost feels like they don't care to engage with their customers at all. The checkout process is another nightmare. Not only is it overly complicated with too many steps, but the payment gateway seemed buggy and unreliable. I encountered errors multiple times before I could even place an order. In the end, I gave up and decided to take my business elsewhere. I wouldn't recommend this site to anyone. There are far better options out there that offer a smoother, more efficient shopping experience. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere for your standard sales needs.
I ordered some bathroom fixtures from Ideal Standard, and to be honest, I'm not very impressed. The delivery took longer than expected, and one of the items arrived damaged. The customer service was not very helpful in resolving the issue. Wouldn't recommend.
