I recently booked a stay through bungalow.net and I have to say it was not a great experience. First off, the website is very difficult to navigate. I had a hard time finding the information I needed and it felt like every page I clicked on took forever to load. This made the whole booking process much more stressful than it needed to be. When we actually arrived at our bungalow, it was clear that the pictures on the website were very misleading. The place looked much older and more worn down in person. The furnishings were outdated and some of the appliances didn't work properly. It seemed like the bungalow hadn't been properly cleaned either. There was dust on the surfaces and it looked like the floors hadn't been vacuumed in a while. Also, there was a strange smell that I couldn’t quite place. It was supposed to be a relaxing getaway, but I found myself more stressed out than before. To make matters worse, when I tried to contact customer service about these issues, it was impossible to get a hold of anyone. I sent multiple emails and tried calling but never got a response. I ended up spending a significant part of my vacation trying to sort these issues out instead of enjoying my time. The lack of communication and poor service is unacceptable. Overall, I cannot recommend bungalow.net based on my experience. It was a big letdown and not worth the money. If you’re looking for a relaxing and hassle-free vacation, I suggest looking elsewhere. There are plenty of other options out there where you’ll get better value and better service.
Het verblijf was teleurstellend. De voorzieningen waren oud en niet goed onderhouden. Personeel leek ongeïnteresseerd en was niet behulpzaam. Niet wat ik verwachtte voor deze prijs.
