I recently tried shopping at British Corner Shop, and I have to say I’m pretty disappointed. First off, navigating the website was a chore. The layout is cluttered, and finding specific items took way longer than it should. It’s almost like they don’t want you to buy anything! When I finally managed to place an order, I was hit with exorbitant shipping fees. I get that international shipping can be pricey, but come on, the fees were almost as much as the groceries themselves! And let’s talk about the delivery time. It took nearly two weeks for my order to arrive, which is unacceptable in today’s world of fast shipping options. When the package finally arrived, several items were either damaged or close to their expiration date. If I’m going to pay a premium for British products, I at least expect them to be in good condition. The customer service was another ordeal. I tried reaching out multiple times via email and got slow, unhelpful responses. It felt like I was talking to a brick wall. At one point, they even contradicted themselves, adding to my frustration. The variety of products offered was decent, but they were often out of stock on popular items, which left me feeling like I had wasted my time even browsing. For the prices they charge, I expected a far better shopping experience. Honestly, I regretted the purchase and would not recommend British Corner Shop to anyone looking for a reliable source for British goods. Save your time and money and look elsewhere—you’ll likely find better service and prices.
I was quite disappointed with the selection and the prices. Some items were out of stock and the delivery took longer than expected. Not sure if I will order again. 😞
