I had high hopes for SimplySoLovely based on the charming and polished appearance of their website, but my experience unfortunately did not live up to the visuals. The product selection is quite limited, and the availability is often hit-or-miss. I found several items that caught my eye, but they were all out of stock. This wouldn't be such a big deal if it weren't for the fact that the restocks are unpredictable and not communicated clearly. I tried to subscribe to the restock notifications, but even that system seemed unreliable as I never got updates. The shopping experience itself is rather clunky. Navigation is not intuitive, and I had to click through multiple menus just to find basic categories of items. The search function leaves much to be desired; it feels like it’s from the early 2010s with barely any advanced filters or options for narrowing down results. When I finally managed to place an order, the checkout process was tedious. There were too many steps, and it felt like they were trying to upsell me with every click. The payment options are limited, and I was concerned about security as the payment gateway did not seem secure. My biggest frustration came with the delivery and customer service. My order took over three weeks to arrive, which is unacceptable in this day and age. When I contacted customer service to inquire about my order, I received generic, unhelpful responses. It felt like they were reading from a script, and my specific concerns were not addressed. The product I received was underwhelming – the quality did not match the price, and the colors were faded compared to what was shown online. I wanted to return it but found their return policy overly complicated and restrictive. Overall, my experience with SimplySoLovely was disappointing. From browsing to post-purchase support, there were just too many issues for me to recommend this site to anyone. It’s a shame because the concept is great, but the execution falls flat.
The website simplysolovely.co.uk is quite disappointing. The layout is cluttered, making it difficult to find what you're looking for. Plus, the pictures are low-quality, and it’s really frustrating. Needs a major redesign!
