Not happy with the customer service. I had some issues with my order and it took ages to get a response. Not what I expected for the price I paid.

Promised a virtual fitting but it was very glitchy. Might give it another chance but not pleased this time.

I recently had the misfortune of visiting the MacGregor and MacDuff website, and honestly, it was a thoroughly disappointing experience. First off, the website's navigation is incredibly clunky. Trying to browse through the various kilt options was more frustrating than it should have been. The categories are not well-organized, and I found myself clicking through multiple pages trying to find what I wanted. When I finally did find a kilt that caught my eye, the product descriptions were extremely lacking in detail. For something as specialized as a kilt, you'd expect more information on the fabric, fit, and care instructions, but all I got were basic bullet points. Customer reviews seemed to be either missing or scarce, so I couldn't even rely on other people's opinions to make an informed decision. When it came to placing the order, the checkout process was nothing short of a nightmare. The site lagged multiple times, and I had to refresh the page just to get my order through. Payment options were also limited and outdated; quite shocking for a site that's supposed to be a premiere retailer. Also, shipping information wasn't clear until I was nearly finished with the checkout, which was quite inconvenient. The worst part had to be the customer service. I sent an inquiry about sizing and didn't receive a response until a week later. By then, I had already lost interest. Overall, the whole experience was a colossal waste of time. The website desperately needs a redesign and better customer support. For now, I'd recommend looking elsewhere for quality kilts and accessories.

Absolutely fantastic! The quality of the kilts is unmatched, and the service was top-notch. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for traditional Scottish wear. Shopping here made me feel proud of my heritage.

The kilt I ordered from MacGregor and MacDuff was a big disappointment. The quality was not as advertised, and the seams were already coming apart after just one wear. Also, the delivery took longer than expected, and customer service wasn't helpful at all. Very frustrating experience overall.

I had the chance to explore MacGregor and MacDuff's website recently and was overall quite pleased with the experience. Their website offers a plethora of traditional Scottish attire and accessories, and as someone who’s deeply interested in Scottish heritage and fashion, this site was a delightful find. The most noteworthy product for me was their extensive collection of kilts. The variety in styles and tartans available is impressive, catering to both traditional tastes and those looking for something a bit more modern. I particularly appreciated the detailed descriptions and history behind each pattern, it adds a layer of authenticity and richness to the shopping experience. They also offer bespoke tailoring services, which is a huge plus for anyone wanting a kilt that fits perfectly. 😊 However, while the range and quality of products are admirable, there were a few areas that could use some improvement. Firstly, the website navigation can be a bit confusing. The layout seems cluttered at times, and it took me a while to figure out where everything was. Better categorization and a more streamlined interface would make browsing much more enjoyable. Additionally, the prices are on the higher end, which is understandable given the quality and craftsmanship but might be a deterrent for some customers. Clearer pricing and possible financing options could make it more accessible. Another point worth mentioning is the customer service. Although responsive, I found that the responses lacked the personal touch I’d expect from a brand that prides itself on tradition and bespoke services. A bit more warmth and personalization could certainly enhance the overall customer experience. Delivery times were reasonable, and the packaging was excellent, ensuring the items arrived in perfect condition. If you’re in the market for high-quality Scottish attire, MacGregor and MacDuff is worth considering, though be prepared to navigate a somewhat cumbersome site and potentially higher prices. Overall, it’s a solid 3-star experience that could easily become a 4- or 5-star with minor improvements.
