I recently purchased a replacement battery for my laptop from laptop-battery.org.uk and my experience was quite underwhelming. First off, the website looks very outdated and navigating it was a headache. It was slow, and most of the links didn't even load properly. I can understand that some sites might not have the best design, but it was ridiculously hard to even find the battery I needed for my specific laptop model. After finally finding the product, placing the order was another ordeal. The checkout process was clunky, and I had to reload the page multiple times before my payment went through. This really made me question the reliability of the site, but I went ahead hoping for the best. Once the order was placed, there was a lack of communication from the company. I didn’t receive a confirmation email until a whole two days later, which just added to my frustration. Shipping was painfully slow, and when the battery finally arrived, it came in a plain, crushed cardboard box with minimal protection. I was seriously concerned about the condition of the battery inside. Upon opening, I found no instruction manual or warranty card—just the battery wrapped in bubble wrap. Installing the battery was easy enough, but it didn't hold a charge as well as I expected. After a week, it started to show signs of degrading performance. The advertised "high capacity" battery barely lasts two hours, which is nowhere near the performance of the original battery even after years of use. To make matters worse, customer service was unresponsive when I reached out to discuss a possible return or refund. Their "24/7 customer support" seems to be non-existent. This entire experience has been a huge letdown and I wouldn't recommend this site to anyone looking for a replacement laptop battery. It’s better to spend a bit more elsewhere for reliability and peace of mind.
The laptop battery I ordered from this site was a total letdown. It barely holds a charge and stops working randomly. Customer service was no help either. Waste of money!
