I was really excited to try Jolly Parrot, but it turned out to be quite disappointing. The products didn't meet my expectations, and the delivery was late by a week. The customer service was not very helpful either. Definitely won't be ordering again from here.
I recently purchased some items from Jolly Parrot hoping to find high-quality pirate-themed accessories and costumes as described on their website. Unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. First off, the delivery was very slow. I placed my order thinking it would arrive within the advertised timeframe, but it took almost three weeks to get to me. When the package finally arrived, I found that some items were missing and others were not as described. The pirate hat I ordered looked great in photos but was cheaply made with a flimsy material and poor stitching. The costumes' sizing was also off, not fitting right even though I chose the sizes according to their size guide. The customer service was another letdown. When I tried to reach out for assistance regarding the missing items and the quality issues, I received generic replies that didn't solve any of my problems. It took several emails before they agreed to send the missing items, which meant another long waiting period. As for the quality, for the price they charge, I expected much better. The materials feel cheap, and the designs lack the detail that's promised in the photographs. The entire experience felt like I'm dealing with a budget store rather than a specialty shop that focuses on pirate-themed merchandise. I also noticed some garments had a strange smell, indicating poor storage or material quality. Considering all the factors – from the delayed delivery, the poor customer service to the subpar product quality – I can't recommend Jolly Parrot to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality pirate-themed costumes and accessories. There are other stores out there that offer better products and service without the hassle. This was a waste of time and money for me, and I will not be shopping here again.
