Ok, here’s the deal. I tried HelloFresh because some friends recommended it, but honestly, it didn't live up to the hype. First off, the website is all in Dutch and it’s a pain to navigate if you're not fluent. I expected more language options, especially given this is Belgium and quite multilingual. Signing up was straightforward, but the meal selection process is kind of laborious. I had to go through so many steps just to pick three meals. And let’s talk about the meals. They look great in the pictures, but when I got the box, some ingredients were not as fresh. I had a couple of veggies that were already starting to wilt. For the price, I expected better quality. Plus, the portions seemed smaller than anticipated. Cooking wasn’t too bad, but the recipes were just okay, nothing to write home about. Also, the instructions were sometimes unclear. I had to Google a few things to make sure I was doing it right. Their customer service? Don’t get me started! I had an issue with one of my boxes, and it took ages to get a response. When they finally got back to me, they didn’t even offer a refund, just a discount on my next order. Ugh, no thanks. Overall, if you’re looking for convenience, maybe it’s worth trying once, but don’t expect miracles. For me, it was more hassle than it’s worth. Especially for the money, I’d rather just go to the local market and pick my own ingredients. Just my two cents.
Ik ben teleurgesteld met HelloFresh. De recepten zijn vaak herhalend en niet altijd lekker. De bezorging is ook een paar keer mis gegaan. Ik verwacht meer voor deze prijs.
