I was really excited with Happy Campers at first, but the camper we got was quite disappointing. The interior was not as clean as expected and there were some worn-out parts. Customer service was slow to respond. Not worth the money.
As a customer who rented a campervan from Happy Campers, I must admit my experience was quite a mixed bag. The van we received was far from what was advertised on their website. For starters, the van was much older and had clearly seen better days. The interior was worn out, and the cushions had a musty smell, which was quite unpleasant for a long trip. The engine made strange noises, and we were constantly worried it might break down on us in the middle of nowhere. I understand that not every vehicle in their fleet can be brand new, but a better maintenance standard should be applied.
