I recently had the misfortune of booking a trip with Dublin Express, and to say it was disappointing is an understatement. The website is somewhat functional, but the information provided is sparse and not very user-friendly. Initially, I thought it was just me not being tech-savvy, but after a while, I realized the site is just poorly designed. Trying to navigate through the different sections to book a ticket felt like solving a puzzle. Moreover, the bus schedules listed are often incorrect or not updated, resulting in a lot of confusion and missed buses. Customer service is almost non-existent. When I finally managed to get through to someone, they were unhelpful and seemed uninterested in resolving my issues. The buses themselves are not much better. They are old, dirty, and often late. On my last trip, the bus was delayed by almost an hour, and the driver didn't even bother to apologize or explain the reason for the delay. It's clear that punctuality is not a priority for Dublin Express. To add to my frustration, the Wi-Fi advertised on their buses rarely works, and when it does, it's painfully slow. This was especially problematic as I had work to do during my commute. The seats are uncomfortable, making long journeys a nightmare. I had specifically booked a "premium" seat expecting a bit more comfort, but there was nothing premium about it. Overall, I wouldn't recommend Dublin Express to anyone unless you have no other options. They really need to step up their game if they want to compete with other, more reliable service providers in the area. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere for your travel needs. Trust me, it's not worth the trouble.
Unfortunately, my experience with Dublin Express was quite disappointing. The bus was late and the seats were uncomfortable. The trip felt longer than it should have been. 😒
