I'm quite disappointed by this service. I tried using it to buy some games but the site was very slow and unresponsive. It took ages to load pages, and that is just frustrating. Expected better for a well-known company.

I have been quite disappointed with Bethesda.net lately. For a company known for producing some of the best role-playing games, you would expect their website to at least match up to the quality of their games. Unfortunately, this is far from the truth. The first thing you notice is the sluggish loading time. It's like the website was designed in the early 2000s and left untouched. Then there's the poor user interface; navigating through different sections is a cumbersome task. There are too many unnecessary clicks required just to find basic information on new releases or updates. The search functionality leaves much to be desired as well. Typing in a game title often leads to unrelated results or no results at all. It feels like an amateur search engine, not something you'd expect from a professional site. Customer service is another sore spot. I tried reaching out via the online help form after I couldn't claim a promotional offer. Not only did it take days to get a response, but the solution provided was vague and didn't resolve my issue. There are also frequent site downtimes, making it impossible to play or download games when you need them. This is especially frustrating when you're in the middle of a game. The promotional offers and discounts are often misleading; the final price at checkout is sometimes higher than what was advertised. This leaves you feeling cheated. One of the worst aspects is the embedded ads for other games that pop up even when you're just browsing for information. This is quite intrusive and hinders the overall user experience. Despite the plethora of issues, there are a few redeeming qualities like the game updates and news section, which are well written and provide a glimpse into what the developers are working on. But these are minor positives in a sea of negatives. Unless Bethesda works on improving these aspects, I cannot recommend using their website. It's just not worth the hassle. I recently explored Bethesda.net to check out the Elder Scrolls Online content and, overall, I have mixed feelings. On one hand, the website has an impressive layout that will catch your eye with high-quality images and interactive features. Navigation is relatively straightforward, with easy access to various games like Fallout, Doom, and of course, the Elder Scrolls series. The downloading and purchasing process is also simple and secure, making it user-friendly.
